What is it?
Dex is computer packaging which doubles as computer furniture (its a box, its a desk, its a box, its a dex).

What makes this design different or better?
Dex is a computer packaging system that assembles into functional computer furniture with a minimal yet sturdy footprint. Dex is intended for use by people who are or have become urban nomads by nature or circumstance. Dex eliminates the waste of the space required to store computer packaging in preparation for the next inevitable move. Dex dissembles easily back into its original form. Dex eliminates the need to own and transport bulky computer furniture. Dex is a high strength honeycomb/corrugated cardboard based product and is fully recyclable. Dex is an expandable modular system, the addition of a peripheral modifies the structure.

The user

1. A student - moves at least 8 times in a 4 year span.

2. A new urban resident - lives in a painfully small space, moves often.

3. A green person - drives a hybrid, enjoys recycling.
