Alberto Gaitán is a programmer and composer. He has designed interactive, computer-assisted art installations as well as database and Internet applications. His work has been exhibited internationally as a member of the collaborative group Art Attack International (artattackinternational.org) and as a solo sound artist. An excellent trumpet player, Nzomo performs regularly in New York City with "Chinese Tough Guys," his African/Jazz group. He also owns two lines of women's clothing, "Nzomo" and "Miss New York City," which he sells out of his Soho store. Besides running his own gallery on the Lower East Side he also manages to publish a monthly e-zine, "RocketBilly" and sits as a judge in "Pet Court," a cable access TV show that deals with pet issues. Nzomo is also the creator of "Overruled!" a legal board game and "BrainBrian" a word puzzle game that is syndicated on RocketBilly.com. |
