What is it?
Children's shower. This fiberglass and fabric structure is lighter and more compact compared to an umbrella creating the same amount of shade.

What makes this design different or better?
Squirt targets children that are ready to make the change from taking baths to taking showers. To the best of my knowledge there are no products like Squirt on the market. Squirt plugs into the existing shower via a shower diverter with an anti-scald feature to protect the sensitive skin of a child. The body is adjustable in height to accomadate different size children. Squirt features a main shower head as well as four individual, adjustable, smaller heads. I envision these heads as some sort of water bug, and designed them with a parent-child relationship, adult and juvenile bug. The smaller heads (bugs) incorporate a built in valve. This requires them to be pushed flat to the base to turn them off, and makes room for the adult that uses the shower next.

Squirt also has a water powered, hand held scrub brush with soft foam bristles. The top section of the scrub brush as well as the starfish shaped knobs offer rubber bumps to provide an interesting texture as well as a comfortable grip. This type of bump is further used in the soft foam bath mat as water spouts that shoot water upward. At the same time the mat provides a safe and comfortable platform on which to shower.

Showering with Squirt isn't just about getting clean, it's about inspiring the imagination of a child.
