What is it?
cordless glue gun concept

What makes this design different or better?
This project represents use-based re-thinking of an everyday tool. The gun affords the user 3-4 minutes of cordless gluing and the convenience of a switchable fine or wide nozzle (depending on the application- wide for commercial and non-detailed work like tile laying, fine for intricate work) as well as a much improved recharging time via an inductive cast iron heating element system.

The molded plastic base allows for table-top or vertical (utility belt) orientation. The base head contains the heating element and docking mechanics, and is easily switched for right or left-handed use via a sliding track interface.

The form and appearance call out necessary utility information such as where to hold and what to avoid (yellow areas=hot), and an updated visual identity from glue guns on the market today, The vertical orientation allows for easy resting and retrieval from surfaces and added protection of the glue stick by enveloping it with the front and rear triggers.
