Sonotouch is a breast self-exam tool using ultrasound technology to capture images of the breast that are stored and analyzed using a computer. Sonotouch is non-invasive and is designed for use in the shower. The inviting form is universally designed for left and right as well as by various size hands. Water also replaces coupling gel, which is used clinically to barricade sound transmission.
Sonotouch fuses design and science, employing various disciplines including but not limited to health care, industrial design, computer science, mathematics, physics and engineering.
