Sleeping Rough
homeless sleeping device

Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication
Specially developed to cover the needs of a person living on the street this durable and portable bed keeps the body warm by lifting the torso off the ground and stimulates the blood circulation through a multi-layer bubble pillow system. The waterproof outer shell is made out of extremely durable rip stop nylon and has a hood to keep head and body dry.
Sleeping Rough is intended to be produced at a very low cost using inexpensive materials and supplied by government agencies to registered homeless people. While not a long term solution, Sleeping Rough takes action here and now, and improves the living conditions of people on the streets.
