At CCAC, Michael will update us on his vision for design. Specifically, he will address the necessity for industrial designers to consider issues of time and space from a new perspective. Michael believes that as we move from our still generally static object-making approach to a more dynamic media-inspired vision for how products could be, we will need to conceptualize and visualize our work in new ways. The lecture will be highlighted by recent student projects from Michael's studio at IIT that point to these new possibilities.
