Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow opens tonight. The movie looks like its going to be huge and a nice addition to the library of movies that designers use for inspiration. Production designer Kevin Conran, cites Raymond Lowey as a major influence on the aesthetic. His brother Kerry wrote, directed, and produced much of the movie in his basement.
