Lot 617 is a full-scale replica of John Harrison's first sea clock, the first portable timepiece used successfully at sea. This Monday evening, Dava Sobel and Will Andrewes (Timex 2154) will lead a panel discussion at Sothebys, "Navigation Through Time."
