James Clar is a lighting and technology desiger working in New York and Tokyo. His work combines LED lights, materials and interactive elements in a stunning display of intelligence and beauty. A recent project is the 3D Display Cube - an array of programable LEDs that function as a sort of 3D television. The cube can render a variety of animations in a streaming fashion, allowing users to upload their own files and see them rendered on the Cube.

His work has been featured in numerous magazines and exhibitions, with upcoming presentations in New York and Chicago.
