Cesium Primary Frequency Standard
Symmetricom (now Microsemi) contracted Goddard to begin the process of developing a brand identity. This included the associated design work to re-face a number of high precision atomic clocks.
Our process needed to start by working with Symmetricom to understand how and where their products were being used. The next step was to engage in an exploration of the company’s core attributes and how their products express these elements.
Goddard then conducted a phased design process, beginning with rough layout sketches, to establish a design direction. We were able to improve the quality and detail of the visual media to focus on the style and aspects of the final bezel and fascia of the products.
Throughout the process, we made provisions that would allow Symmetricom to roll out a new look, layout, and color across a broad range of products.
