Now in its third year, Helsinki Design Week is an international festival for the creative industries. This year's bigger than ever Istanbul Design Week transforms the historical Galata bridge into a six-day design panorama featuring local design works with lectures, workshops and exhibitions from all over the world (4-10 September 2007).

From May 12-20, Europe's design scene is gathered in Berlin for DESIGNMAI 2007. This year's design festival celebrates its fifth anniversary with a special focus on the convergence of technology and design incl. contributions from designers from all over the world. With barely enough time to recover from Milan in April, New York Design Week (May 19 - 22) shifted its focus back to Manhattan with the strongest ICFF show seen in years, schools participated with high concept booths and well resolved prototypes. The crowd pleaser was HauteGREEN, clearly the most outstanding satellite exhibition for those on the design trail.

Design Philadelphia (April 12-27), hosted a number of events, exhibitions and lectures. Highlights included the "Philly Heart Design" show and symposium "The Grid".

Milano Design week, from April 18-23, 2007, attracted more than 250,000 visitors.
