My design “Coca Hanger” is a plastic clothes hanger making use of empty Coca Cola bottles, both original shapes and materials. In my understanding, a clothes hanger is quite a “light object”, because it’s so simple and common a thing in our daily lives. But behind my design about this “light object”, there are discreet thinkings about our environment and creating new value from used up products. And the most important thing is: the recycling here is not just for extending functions, but also for extending the popularities from the old products to new products.
