Here are some snippet from the Obama exhibition:
Greg Bethel "Collective Clock" President Obama has called on the American people to unite in collective action and to come together as one American family -- a return to the original motto of the United States, "E pluribus unum," or "Out of Many, One." The Collective Clock depicts the unification of Americans progressing into the future, as the 'hands' of the clock are composed of hundreds of tiny ball bearings moving as one.

Andrew Peerless "Paper Trail Clock"
President Obama has consistently emphasized the role personal responsibility will play in his administration and in the improved America he envisions. The Paper Trail Clock emphasizes personal responsibility through the juxtaposition of a clock and a "to-do" list -- a 365-page pad of paper with die-cut holes that allow a view through to the digital clock that is mounted behind the pad. As 'To-Do's' get accomplished the pad of paper gets progressively thinner and the time becomes easier to read.

"Table support for heavy backpacks that doubles as as a massager for back 'knots' caused by heavy backpacks."

It appears that the smaller group is making more progress while the larger group moves into the future only when it has to. It also appears there's a large green conduit that feeds the two groups movements but that neither group really wants this to break the plastic environment in which there comfortable. Now if you also told me that the motor was leveraged 30:1 I'd say it was perfect!
