Hongtao Zhou, maker of frozen furniture (blogged earlier this year), continues his seasonal exploration with From dumpster to Halloween and Christmas. A weird title for a weird (and great) project.
According to Zhou, the chair was found lying broken amongst holiday ads in a Madison, Wisconsin dumpster. Zhou concluded that the chair must have been thrown away prior to seasonal decorating and asked himself, "Should a chair also have holidays?" In response, he fixed this chair and turned it into a Halloween character, with sawdust and wood scraps used as the dripping "blood" of trees.
From Zhou: "Enjoy Halloween and Christmas my chair friend."
We're still trying to figure out the Christmas part...will this chair receive gifts?
