They're sunglasses, part of Oakley's new, recently-launched line of super design-y products called the Elite Collection. The products in the line are limited edition, not to breed exclusivity, but because they're freaking hard to produce--it reportedly takes a five-axis CNC machine more than 24 hours to spit out a pair of the carbon-fiber C Six sunglasses.

"Over the decades, [some Oakley breakthroughs] never found commercial application because the designs were too radical for consumers to grasp, or the projected price points would have narrowed demand and made development unfeasible. The Elite Collection allows these revolutionary designs to reach consumers, albeit in extremely limited quantities," Baden concluded.
