Jon Kolko Executive Director of Design Strategy of Thinktiv and Founder & Director of the Austin Center for Design Jon Kolko is the Executive Director of Design Strategy at Thinktiv, a venture accelerator, and Founder and Director of Austin Center for Design, an educational institution teaching interaction design and social entrepreneurship. He has worked extensively in the professional world of interaction design, solving the problems of Fortune 500 clients. His work has extended into the genres of consumer electronics, mobile, web, supply chain management, demand planning and customer-relationship management, and he has worked with clients such as AT&T, HP, Nielsen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ford, IBM, Palm and other leaders of the Global 2000. Jon is the author of Thoughts on Interaction Design, published by Morgan Kaufmann, and Exposing the Magic of Design: A Practitioner's Guide to the Methods and Theory of Synthesis by Oxford University Press

Jan Moorman Senior Design Researcher in User Experience at projekt202 As the Senior Design Researcher in user experience at projekt202, Jan Moorman couples analysis with creativity. Her work blends cognitive science, game-play, scenario-based design, user research, and UX best practices. She has worked for leading software companies including Travelocity and Intuit. She is the co-author of several publications concerning the visualization of scientific data and has given workshops and talks on various user-centered techniques including writing scenario-based design, use cases, and root cause analysis of usability findings. Rounding out the depth of her experience in design and research, Jan is a co-inventor on several user interface patents.
Todd Wilkens Studio Director of Adaptive Path, Austin Todd Wilkens is the Studio Director of Adaptive Path's Austin studio. He has over 13 years of experience as a creative leader, researcher, strategist, and designer in many different contexts. His work has focused on everything from financial services to online communities to youth, religion, and culture. He specializes in multi-channel experiences and has worked on the web, consumer electronics, services (e.g. phone reps, employee interactions with customers, etc.), and retail spaces. He has worked in-house and as a consultant, in industry and academia. He is co-author of the book Subject to Change: Creating Great Products and Services for an Uncertain World. He also teaches courses and workshops in research, strategy, and design internationally.
Gregg Wygonik Principal Technologist at frog's Austin studio Gregg Wygonik has a diverse background in design, technology, and music. He is currently a Principal Technologist at frog design's Austin studio. His work pushes the envelope in traditional mobile, desktop, and web technologies, as well as bleeding-edge tech like 3D imaging cameras, computer vision frameworks, augmented reality, and wearable/ubiquitous computing platforms. His web work includes interactive properties for the likes of National Geographic, The Museum of Science and Industry and AARP, as well as social network and user-generated content UI/UX design and development for NBC, CBS and independent media firms. He has been a visible resource in the interactive community for over a decade with a syndicated blog, published books and articles, conference presentations and guest lectures.
