Back in February, we livestreamed Made in Brunel's 24-hour design challenge, in which over 150 design student participants collaborated in small groups to respond to one of eight project briefs provided by brands like LEGO, Rolls Royce, IDEO and Seymour Powell. Each team had three hours to answer their brief—including designing, communicating and delivering their ideas.
The event footage is available for those who may have missed the maiden viewing—or, if you've only got a few minutes, check out this quick recap video of the event:
The 24-hour design-a-thon was only one event in the history—and future—of Brunel-hosted happenings. This summer, the organization will put on a exhibition from June 12–15 in Central London featuring projects ranging from human-centered designs to innovations in transport, sustainability and behavior change. The Made in Brunel team will also be presenting their thoughts on the future directions of well-known brands based on predicted contextual issues in society over the next 15 years.Aside from the exhibited work, attendees will also have the opportunity to attend Pecha Kucha talks, networking lunches, brand vision presentations and a reception for Brunel alumni. You can register the attend the event here.
