The 6th Asian Design Conference took place more than 2 years ago. But information about the conference is not easy to find. Just today I was referred to an obscure page containing links to what appears to be every paper presented at the event. It is an absolute treasure trove of information on design in Asia. Pictured above is a timeline depicting the development of Asian-specific products, taken from a fascinating paper (PDF file) written by Helen Lai-Ching Ho, currently chair of the Product Design department at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore.
