To fill this role successfully, you'll need a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from an IDSA accredited school as well as 7-10 years experience of product design. You will be creating 3D models, functional and presentation quality prototypes, sketches, and proof of concept models that effectively communicate design intent so you should be proficient with 3D Modeling package (Adobe PhotoShop, and Illustrator; Microsoft Office Suite) with a functional knowledge of injection molding, metal forming and fabrication and common assembly processes.
