The 1-Hour Design Challenge is a Core77 tradition that allows designers to take on a sketching challenge during the lunch hour and stretch their imagination and fingers. Participants are asked to complete their sketches within an one hour time frame, hence the name, and will be judged accordingly.
This design challenge is open for submission for a 2.5 week period. Entries can be submitted via our dedicated discussion board or on our new 1-Hour Design Challenge Facebook group beginning March 14th, 2016. Entries submitted on either platform will be accepted through March 29th, 11:59PM EST. Once sketches are submitted, they are immediately made viewable to the public for comment and feedback. Official announcement dates are listed below.
Participants are free to submit as many submissions as they see fit as long as each submission is executed within the proposed 1-hour time frame.
Three (3) winners will be determined by our jury panel and announced on February 29th 2016. See below for prize information.
