Designers will be the first to admit it—not all of our brilliant ideas start off good. It takes some experimentation, long hours, toiling and toying with paper or foam models until we've almost hit our breaking point. Then, whammo! We change one element of a model, maybe even come across a happy accident and the solution is right there in front of our eyes. Without that long, grueling process of making dozens, hundreds—maybe thousands!—of prototypes, it's hard to imagine anything feeling as resolved as that final design.
That grueling yet satisfying process is in fact one of the driving ideas behind this year's Core77 Design Awards poster (which you can read in full detail about here).
