Graphing calculators were the best, especially if you were one of the dorks who managed to get Tetris and Snake up on that piece--who needs to pay attention when you're a math whiz? Well, the non-math whizzes, that's who. Luckily for today's math students, Texas Instruments has developed the TI-Navigator system, providing a wireless connection between students' TI graphing calculators and the teacher's PC and Activity Center. As students punch in their answers, the Activity Center shows each student's graph in real time, revealing who "got it" and who didn't--a bit embarrassing for slow kids but a good kick in the pants for slackers.
