In a stunning upset, Team Osaka lost to the German team NIMBRO 5-7 in the Humanoid Championship, Small Size. This despite significant advancements by Team Osaka, including a stealthy sideways kick that sent the German player's cameras spinning. I caught up with Tomotaka Takahashi after the match to find out what went wrong.DW: Hey Takahashisan, can I ask you a few questions?
TT: No, not really.
DW: What happened out there today?
TT: I don't know.
DW: It must be a crushing blow.
TT: They kept dribbling. They were continuously dribbling. That was a good strategy. Our robots need set up time.
DW: What changes will you make for next year?
TT: I have no idea. I'm not sure if we'll be in RoboCup next year.
DW: I notice that Team Osaka was much smaller than the German robots. Did size play a part in this defeat?
