Pushiron is the most secure iron—just push it as if it is a push-button switch.
This is a novel alternative to conventional electric irons, which pose risk of burn injuries.Inspired by push-button switches, Pushiron is designed to uncover the hotplate only when pressing the big, red button.
Pushiron can free you from danger, as it enhances safety measures. This particularly makes it safer for use in homes with young children.

Pushiron is installed with a readily accessible button that can be immediately pressed once exposed to danger.
With a red button, one can simply control the temperature and the hotplate accordingly—turning the button clockwise immediately heats the 'Carbon heater'. When not in use, the button will be automatically pushed to hide the unprotected hotplate in the cover.
A polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) lining allows an immediate insulation of heat, facilitating temperature control. An easily accessible red button as well as temperature notifications through LED light reduces the risk of danger, while providing ease and comfort at one hand.
Unlike one of those traditional irons with sharp edges, this cover, which hides the plate in exactly a 45-degree angle, enhances safety in use.
Wireless use is also available, if fully charged. Four stages of battery life are signalized through the round, LED light.
With a single button, power, temperature, and hot plate coverage can be controlled.
An image of a sharp-edged plate commonly comes to mind when thinking of irons. A design trend for electronic devices should be the incorporation of furniture design like aesthetics. Likewise, irons should also be featured as a nicely designed, aesthetically pleasing common household appliance.

The benefit of a standard iron is the pointy front end - this "iron" won't be able to fit between buttons on a button-down shirt with the current design, making this useless if you own any shirts with buttons.
