Fresh out of design school your mind is probably full of ideas and
enthusiasm, but not much about etiquette, portfolio, charges and contracts.
In my six years as a freelancer and small business owner I've learned a few
things about these critical skills. Speaking to a client and arranging a
meeting to show your portfolio and/or discuss a project is only the
beginning of a client relationship. You've got to follow up and be thorough
to avoid any possible complications.
Here are some basic key issues to examine to fully be prepared for surving in the REAL WORLD of being
a Freelancing Industrial Designer...
See for yourself the list of more than 200 firms listed at CORE77, resources that will help you if you desire to network during your freelancing career; BROWSE throught the job listings and GET INTO FREELANCING.
From the original FREELANCING INSTITUTE you will learn by doing actual problems -yours is real "hands-on" training not just reading. You will learn HOW TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITIES OPEN TO YOU!
