Core applauds the recent efforts to customize and utilize our favorite breakfast staple: the toasted slice of bread.
The much touted, Toasty, automatically dials into a weather service hotline, then, using an embedded Java device from Dallas Semiconductors and a heat resistant PTFE mask, toasts the appropriate weather symbol onto your slice of bread.
Obviously a little short on high resolution imaging, you'll get either a sunny day or an attack of monster spiders.
This final frontier of advertising-free zones, specifically our food, is being rapidly capitalized: The Hello Kitty Toaster, toasts a Hello Kitty face onto every slice. Unfortunately, no images are available to Core, but if the above sunny day is any indication, your li'l Hello Kitty fan may just be biting into a ferocious feline floating-head nightmare.
