CowMan unregistered	posted 12-24-2003 03:33 AM Isn't it time we became more civilized and became vegetarian? 5 year ago after eating meat all my life I QUIT. It was VERY easy. I feel much healthier (physically and mentally). My wife who is anemics was always told by doctors to eat meat. Guess what she quit meat with me as well and surprisingly her iron levels have been the best ever for last 5 years. The doctors are very shocked. I do make sure that we eat a cross-section of vegetables,pulses, fruits etc etc. I love my GREEN. IP: Logged

unrelated unregistered	posted 12-24-2003 12:02 PM I eat meat, but i can't stand a meal without vegetables. It doesn't mean that if you don't eat meat you become healthier. You still need to watch your diet to balance your nutrience intake, like eat more tofu to get your protein. So no beef for Americans huh? I wonder how they are going to survive days without beef. I suppose even products like mike and cheese will be affected too? IP: Logged

What I find so funny is that people are so snobby in the west when they think Chinese etc are crude for eating dog meat, horse meat etc. As a vegetarian from a moral point of view I don't see what the bloody difference is between eating dog meat or cow meat!!! I guess dogs are cuter than cows for some. There was so much shock recently regarding the German man who ate another human volunteer. (all was taped on video) The guy said he can't be charged for murder as the other guy was a volunteer. The dead guy even enjoyed lunch with the cannable consisting of his own chopped dick cooked with garlic etc. We are screwed man ;-) From a technicall point of view I don't see anything wrong with cannabilism. meatless patty unregistered	posted 12-25-2003 03:07 AM i stopped eating meat about 1 year ago. best thing i ever did. we are deceived by the food industry (namely the cattle industry) into thinking that meat is an essential part of our diet. It is really strange but by stopping my meat intake I have unplugged myself from a huge portion of our consumer society (the food industry). watching KFC/Mcdonalds commercials are utterly commical and somewhat disgusting now. I feel less a part of mass america in a very distinct and much healthier way. Think about that fact that FOOD GROUPS are marketed to us. Milk products for christ sake. Eggs. Beef. White bread! Fast food. Each one representing an industry not interested in your health or well being but in your MONEY. IP: Logged

I eat potatoes, spinich, pulses, maize, chick peas, tons of fruits.....I am not excluding anything that my body needs. Meat is not necessary AT ALL!!!! I am lean mean fighting machine.
