The incident happened in Birmingham UK (middle of UK) :-)

Ian Brown who's web site it was taken from is a rock singer from a famous band called Stone Roses (x-Band)from 1980-90's.

Actually I had a friend who got sent to prison for 4 years for something he did not do. He was in a car with his friend. They stopped outside a shop. My friend stayed in the car...his friend went to the shop to buy some snacks. This was in East london (UK). The racist English shopkeeper along with his posse verbally abused him before roughing him up a bit. Anyway there was a fight and this guy stabbed one of the guys. (not a nice thing to do but in this part there have been lot of attacks on Asians so lot of kids carry knives to protect themselves)
Anyway to cut a long story short. My friend who was in the car and had nothing to do with the incident did 4 years. The judges were down right racist to him.
The worst thing is when he came out he was a changed man... he used to be a fun guy always chatting away afterwards he hardly spoke.
His family was ashamed of him because he bought a bad name (silly from the family)
Anyway he got abused in prison as all the weak ones do.
This was 10+ years ago. It was a sad case.
