As much problems as we have with windows after they release it, who would want to risk using a version that is not ready for release?IP: Logged |

Dirt cheap is dirt cheap. If it's only for home use maybe it's not such a big deal. Besides, do half those people even realize it's not the final? I'm betting pirates don't stamp "INCOMPLETE" on it. And it's not like someone who bought it illegally is expecting to call customer support. Well, maybe not....IP: Logged |

I have a slightly different perspective on this. The fact that it's out soooo early tells me a couple things:1. Computer hackers will have plenty time to study the OS source code and find potential weaknesses in security BEFORE its even released on the market. 2. If you believe in conspiracy theories, OS could have been allowed to leak out on purpose by Microsoft. This way Microsoft can have a "customer base" which tests the software before it's even sold in stores. Think of it... normally companies HIRE people to test out their software in hopes of finding potential problems and bugs. This is now being done for free in Malaysia. IP: Logged |

Don't forget the millions made off of anti-virus software. My computer requires more maintenance than my decade old car. No shit! IP: Logged |
