I want to get my website: http://www.birdseyeworks.com so that it comes up in search engines. Can someone tell me how to do it myself? I made the site in Dreamweaver.

Do a search for "robots" text files. It's basically a text file in your root directory that the search engines use when figuring out what is what on a site. I don't remember how it works or how to do it, but I used it on my site with great success.

I know my website is listed first on the google list when you do a search for my name. Why, because the first line in on my resume page has my name as the first text on the page (in html code.)

Granted my home page doesn't come up in the listing, just my resume page but you can still navigate to the other pages.

You can always put what every word you want on the front page. Make the text the same color as your background and no one will see it but the search engines.
