Topic: RCA....is it good as everyone says?

i have recently graduated from uni reading product design and i was thinking of doing a masters to reinforce and learn more design skills. is RCA worth it? or is it just silly rumours (how good they are)???IP: Logged |

this guy makes a good point.. check out not only the fees but the living costs as well before you start seriously considering the RCA..i don't think it's overrated thoug. It's hard to find someone to comment on the program around here. If you look around at professionals that have attended the RCA though, that should give you a good indication of the level of designer they produce (pretty bloody high). IP: Logged |

Well that was my thinking too.. Seriously though, equate financing your degree at the RCA like taking a mortgage to buy a fairly comfortable house in the 'burbs.Between two years at the RCA and an eternity of life in suburban hell, i know which i'd pick.. but it's still not a wise fiscal choice for everyone.  this is, of course, if you can convince them to let you in as well..
