Anyone on this board from Richmond? I'm desperately looking for a full-time design position. I can't wait for this economical slump to end.

You can view some of my work at:

Thanks

that fading effect in your portfolio is really annoying.

fades okay, just make it faster.. 1/2 the speed. no one is going to wait...give it a 5-6 frame fade, or .3 sec, not the .8 or whatever u have

Thanks fade for the more CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, unlike the king. i've been meaning to change a few things but haven't had a lot of time too.

yes sir, everything you see, i did. there are only 2 pieces in my portfolio that were collaborations. one was the AIGA poster and the other was a photoshop challenge from a friend of mine.

hey the fades are faster now, nice.. could be a little faster still... maybe even not do a fade and go with a theme like your home page of a "Glider"/scroller type thing going...it would at least be more active and distract initially. Although i think this might take up more space. not sure, just a thought

thanks, glider scroll thing? you mean the warbucks site? that was all done with DHTML, no flash. i don't think i'll try that again, especially since it only works in IE. that was just an experiment to see if i could do it. i'm happy with the fade, but you're right, it was very slow.

on a different note, i forgot to mention earlier, i don't have any formal ID training but i have designed a few furniture pieces in photoshop.

i would love to take a few ID classes but have yet to find a school where i can get my MFA and be able to take some.
