yes but at walmart you will not move up to 60-70k with a few years experience, that is the difference and that is why we all work hard and went to school. I understand the principals behind saying money shouldn't matter, and it doesn't bring happyness, however have you ever met a happy homeless person? I have met some happy ass millionars. Money doesn't make you happy but it makes it easier to be happy. ex: having things that you enjoy and it also makes you more attractive to potential mates which could make you happy and bring you love so =P IP: Logged |

argue with me if i am wrong, but i think being a junior designer and just getting out of college, getting the job is the most important. Furthermore what is more important, the money or the job? I think it depends on what kind of company you are working for. Point of Purchase is the most and consultancies are the lowest. People can pay you shit because everyone is trying to get a job, dont be pretentious about your first salary because experience is so much more important . I know people who make huge money now that originally just started at 20,000.IP: Logged |

This is the very reason why I'm considering learning Pro-E really good and just become a a Pro-E monkey. . . I'd be making 50% more than I am right now.IP: Logged |

Hi Stanford PD...i just came across your reply and am interested in what you think of the industrial design scene and opportunities in DC. I am currently looking for work in the east, especially DC. Congratulations and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.QUOTE]Originally posted by Stanford PD: Just Started at a small company out of college.
