I was hired to design some furniture for a client. The first faze was sketches and renderings and they loved the work and plan on running with the design. The problem is that they took forever to pay me. It took about 2 1/2 months to pay up! Finally I got my pay but now they want to hire me again to build prototypes but I'm having my doubts. There's no shortage of work and I'm not dependant on this gig for the money. I feel a little guilty though because they'll either need to find another designer to complete the project or start from scratch. Your opinions are welcomed.

Similarly, all materials fee up front, plus half of wages.I have heard that freelancing often means waiting to be paid. IP: Logged |
