Unless you are primaraly a Graphic designer you really should stick to the PC, becuase the softwares that you will need to know for ID are PC based...Alias, Pro-E, Solidworks, and Rhino. These are the Industry standars and anyone who tries to direct you elsewares is simply misleading you to better their job chances. I would venture to say 95% of all product design is handled with these softwares, with the Toy industry possibly also utilizing Maya for charector modeling. IP: Logged |

spellin schmellinIf I was that bothered about spellin I would be a teacher of reporter or somethin', if you cant take a little advice and critisism it just shows that you will never be a team player, a key factor in working in a consultancy. I also don't see how going against the grain and usin a Mac instead of a PC for ID is benificial to you unless you are developing your own world class CAD program, take some advice, most people on this site are tryin' to help you. And try to work on this: Crits should be taken professionally not like a baby. ujtyk fisea dzx e qwvu ufeha..oops spellin mistake IP: Logged |

I take it you are not a "yank" and so am guessing you are british (although i may be wrong). if so not to bright. brumbrum i wonder where that came from, maybe Birmingham. its obvious that you are not on here to get anything other than sadistic pleasure by slagging people off and the only suggestion that i can give you mr novice designer is to quit while you have some dignity because slagging people off for no reason just makes you look stupid and childish.care to prove me wrong big man post your work and ill make a professional honest objective decision. i dont know you from tom but first impressions look weak, your personality sells you the job your portfolio only gets you to the interview. if you only reply by another slagging match i would suggest you to stop wasting everyones time and your own and concentrate on rising above novice designer status. on the other side if the table i have a first class honurs in id and a masters in automotive design, and a job. take it from me if you are not a team player you wont last 5 minutes merry christmas scrooge IP: Logged |
