WannaBe unregistered	posted 01-04-2004 01:40 AM Hello UIs, I am a inspiring UI designer, Senior ( + a semester). However, at my school they teach only software dev. skills. C++, Database stuff, and Java. I read as many books as I can from Alan Cooper to teh Design of everyday things. Next semester ill be usign Java Beans! However, I have a on campus interview with Microsoft in late January, and I want to prove to them my potential and passion yo pursue UI design, how can I do this...PLEASE HELP! To be a successful UI designer, your ability to understand end user needs (both expressed and latent) and to work with others are as important as your design sense and SW skills. Good luck! I am not certain that they are so good that I would recommend you to skip other things (in your preperations for the interview) in order to read them IP: Logged
