Blood Sample Container

Overview
To extract the most DNA from a blood sample it needs to dry as quickly as possible and touch as few surfaces as possible to avoid contamination. We designed a 2 piece plastic shell that snaps together with cantilever snaps for easy assembly and disassembly. Two 10mm x 10mm material swatches are captured by the top and bottom shell elevating it in the middle. Holes on the side allow air to come in from under the material swatch, drying it much faster. There is also a dessicant packet in the center helping it dry faster.
