SPOT Satellite Personal Tracker

HS Design

Overview

Working with GlobalStar and Axonn Technologies, we created a unique product category for personal GPS devices. HS Design's involvement started in the concept phase and continued through engineering, detailed databases and liaison with offshore manufacturing. We delivered 1000 full working parts in under six months. Units passed stringent environmental testing, including a three meter drop and one meter water test. HSD was involved in both the 1st and 2nd generation devices. The 2nd gen lead to a 30% reduction in size and weight.
