Overview

Cosmo is a start-up company that is developing a new technology that combines autonomous robotics, AI, and IoT for the AgTech sector. The company’s goal is to ultimately advance a license-able platform. Most of all, its immediate need was to demonstrate its technology to secure funding. For its first product, Cosmo specifically focused on indoor and greenhouse farming.

INSIGHT

We began by quickly coming up to speed on the environmental conditions and the needs of the grower. We then selected a robust off-the-shelf platform to develop the functional prototype. (This shaved months off the development schedule). In addition, we worked closely with a local electrical engineering partner, who developed the electronics, including the sensor suite, cameras, and power management system. Our team collaboration resulted in a stunning, cost-effective, fully functional demo unit to show to prospective investors.
