This is the Most Bizarre Presentation by a Car Designer I've Ever Seen
Marketed toward developers and hackers; Silicon Valley types who need something to obsess about. They have the means and capacity to have a very private puzzle to fuss with over a long period of time. There a ton of Easter eggs buried into Mr. Robot, for example, that attract such an audience and RR is tapping into that market.
I just hope you don't have to decode anythng before you can brake. I can see this idea working better on a mass-produced young & hip car rather than a limited edition (50). So they put easter eggs in the car.
I seem to be missing the point. Does the key fob come with a magic decoder ring for the owner to decrypt the patterns that ordinary people can't?
What a Load. "If you know, you know" fuck outta here. People get a little too caught up in their pretentiousness. I don't need my vehicle to be the fucking Hellraiser puzzle, I just want it to be nice, reliable, easy/cheap to fix and maintain. Give me the Rolls money, I'll buy a really comfy Yukon or crown vic... With a mini-fridge... And I will put the rest of the money into shit that makes sense.
Is this going to be like the WD morse code pattern on old WD hard drives? Where, if you are really bored, you start to write down the dashes and dots on the case, and find out the secret message?
I kinda like that concept. Interesting actually. I wonder if you gat a starting key or a guide when you purchase the product to help you begin your journey to unlocking the secret...
