The Hide-a-Mask is an innovative face mask design that tucks away inside a ball cap. It can be pulled on in just seconds:
This is perfect for those of us in non-urban areas, where we do not have to wear a mask the second we leave our homes. In regions like mine, you leave the house and drive mask-free, then put your mask on before entering a store. In this sunny weather I've never forgotten my hat, but have forgotten my mask twice and had to turn around to drive back home. The Hide-a-Mask would've come in handy then.

What I'd really love to see, though I realize it would be trickier for the end user to execute, is a version that buyers could retrofit to existing hats.
At press time the Hide-a-Mask had $9,256 in pledges on a $12,000 goal, with 29 days left to pledge.

Hide-a-Mask: On-Demand Face Mask That Pops Out of a Baseball Cap
In any case, the mask is a barrier. Anyone wearing a mask in a pandemic context should consider that their mask may be infected. If you are asymptomatic, you would have covid-19 particles on the inside surface of the mask. If you meet a person that is infected with the covid-19, you may have some particles on the outside of the mask. For these reasons, you should never place back the mask inside the cap after wearing it. I believe that this 'hiding-back-mask' is a bad design for a pandemic context.
i thought you were a designer, Noe ? would it occur to you or anyone to wonder how it works in reverse ? how long it takes to load back into place (hidden) once it's been deployed once ?
This with my hide-a-flask underwear and I'm all set to go.
