It seems like an oxymoron, but G-Shock--Casio's line of indestructible watches that you're likely to see on everyone from firefighters to mountain climbers, disaster preppers to soldiers--has announced their upcoming Heavy Duty line.
As you can see the casings have been beefed up, resulting in a "utilitarian design motif highlighted by a 10-sided bezel resembling the shape of an industrial fastener and secured by four screws," the company writes. Additionally, "The band connection and buttons have knurled surfaces that prevent slipping to ensure the utmost comfort and functionality."
Available with resin or cloth bands and in a variety of colorways, this GA900 series will run from $120 to $160 and are scheduled to roll out this month. You can find detailed specs and/or sign up for notifications here.
