3D Print Your Own Pocket Hole Jig for Different-Sized Screws
I don't see anywhere in his post that he made this for different size screws - he used 1/2" bushings, which is the standard diameter of the step drill for use with these jigs. As he wrote, it's just to save a few bucks on the cost of branded Kreg pocket hole jigs. McMaster offers 1/2" drill bushings for about $8 each, and a new step drill with a collar is about the same. Given the ubiquity of perfectly serviceable, durable, and well reviewed alternatives to the Kreg brand for around $20, this seems like a fools errand.
Kreg not only sells jigs for this size screw but there's a link to it right there in the post this was taken from. Printing your own jig is not of much value unless you can also machine your own appropriately stepped drill bit with stop collar.
