Here's three neat objects spotted on Kevin Kelly's Cool Tool blog:
Clic Readers are breakaway glasses that become one by means of a magnet, then neatly split when you need 'em out of the way. If you've ever worn glasses on a lanyard and accidentally broken them in half, you'll appreciate these. It's an update to "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"--you can't break what's already broke.
The Strap-a-Handle is like a band clamp for boxes, and with the ability to stack multiples securely it should make moving a snap. In a perfect world, my assistant would carry boxes up the stairs for me; in this world, I can't afford a personal assistant. But at 13 bucks, I can afford these.
The Bemis Easy-Clean Toilet Seat isn't a new idea, but every time I clean my bathroom, I'm reminded that it's a good one; I don't have one of these yet, and cleaning the crud from behind a regular toilet seat is a big ol' pain in the you-know-what.
