"Shrinkflation:" When Companies Sneakily Shrink Products, But Keep the Price the Same
I have wondered about this as I started noticing it years ago; is this an accepted/legal strategy? It seems in a more regulated environment they would have to call out that it is a smaller size than before. Like how they use a starburst to let you know this is a bigger box than usual. So sleazy.
