A Better Daily Pill Dispensing System: Paper Sheets in a Binder
I wish Core77 would stop using misleading titles like these, or at least put a question mark at the end. This design is likely NOT better than most other pill dispensers. It's actually much worse in many regards. Let the readers determine the value of the design, stop telling us "wow look this is the best design ever"..... it's not.
Given the obsession of the Japanese stationery industry with cute monthly / yearly planners and notebooks, this makes sense. They have a wonderful plethora of organizers and inserts for everyday carry philosophies - but I can see that it wouldn't be as useful elsewhere without the stationery organizer context.
I don't see how this is an improvement. Its more fussy to use, maybe holds two pills per pocket, if the binder is flipped the pills fall out, and generates a lot of waste.
Paper is a poor moisture barrier. Stability of the active ingredient would be a large concern.
