LG has announced their forthcoming 28MQ780 DualUp Monitor, a unique display for users (like me) who prefer using dual monitors that are vertically stacked, rather than side by side.
With an aspect ratio of 16:18, it's essentially like having two 21.5", 16:9 monitors, one over the other. It takes up less space on the desktop, and the clamping stand frees up the space beneath them as well.
In addition to the saved space, LG claims an ergonomic benefit of the arrangement: It "reduces side-to-side head movements," they write, "the main cause of neck pain."
