This Thanksgiving, cut the tension with an exotic knife

God forbid you have to go to your In-Laws for Thanksgiving, but if you do, maybe you can cut through their crusty exterior by bringing them a nice gift to carve the turkey with, like this Yoshikane chef knife that you won't see on typical store shelves.

The triple-layered knife has a center layer of die steel--the stuff they use to cut metal, for chrissakes--with a layer of stainless on either side, artfully forged and hand-hammered. The chestnut handle is charred to provide texture that provides grip even when the knife is wet.

At $225 the knife ain't cheap, but they're your In-Laws and you love them, right?
