Lares Blechwarenfabrikation is a German fabricator that turns metal sheet goods--tin and stainless steel--into premium bakeware. Their stock-in-trade are items like this:
However, on their Instagram they posted a photo after a winter snowstorm at the company HQ in Waibstadt, Germany. And it looks to me like they've used their sheet-metal-fabricating skills to produce a snow shovel with a nifty design feature:
It's possible I'm mistaken and that the shovel is store-bought, but I have a feeling a company engineer rigged it up. (And if s/he's reading this, I appreciate your design!)

Sorry - is this meant to be innovative?
Maybe OK to coax a bit of frost off your front walk (as in photos). For anything more than that you'll want a real snow shovel, and this is definitely not it!
I get a perversive pleasure out of using things out of their intended use. It only snows 2 or 3 times a year here but my snow shovel is the busiest tool in the yard by far. Leaves on pavement, grass clippings, even a giant dustpan. This handheld sized grader blade will make short work of leaves on a driveway. German model in teutonic raw aluminum. American model in construction yellow.
And a shovel like this is only good for a minimal amount of dusting on a sidewalk/driveway. Anything more than 1/4", and this shovel is worthless.
